Arjava Strategic Communication is a full-service public relations agency. Although a young agency, it has worked with non-profit organizations, high profile individuals, emerging brands, established corporations and regional businesses to provide them achieve their strategic public relations goals.

As we believe that there is no one-fits-all approach, our dedicated team will evaluate our client’s needs one by one and suggest proactive public relations approach that exceed expectations.

Our Story

In the middle of 2018, two like-minded people decided to collaborate in establishing a public relations firm that aims to not only do big things but also best solution for clients and make a difference to the communities.

We are here to help our clients to tell their great stories that persuade as we have a strong expertise in bridging meaningful relationship between our clients and their stakeholders, especially in Southeast Asia. In addition to that, when building a communication strategy we provide, among others, media coaching for professionals, life coaching programs to empower the minority groups as well as outreach and community building projects in rural areas.   

Founded in the emergence of new media and post-truth phenomenon, we came up with a brand namely: Arjava Strategic Communication. Derived from a Sanskrit word, Arjava means straightness, sincerity and harmony in one’s thought, words and actions towards others. These reflect our commitment in providing our clients the right direction in achieving their strategic objectives.

Our Senior Leadership

Sally Piri

Managing Director & Co-Founder

As the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Arjava Strategic Communication, Sally Piri is responsible for providing strategic and creative directions, as well as overseeing the daily operations.

With journalism career spanning 17 years, Sally has worked at renowned national and international publications based in Southeast Asia. Her writings have appeared on The Jakarta Post, The London Times, Reuters News Agency, and The Jakarta Globe, among others. She covered diverse issues, from politics to culture and business, where she got to report on regional and international summits, interview prominent global figures and high-ranking officials. Other highlights of her extensive career were the assignment to cover the Indonesian Presidential Palace, and working as senior journalist at The Brunei Times in Bandar Seri Begawan for eight years.

Sally has been a GIZ-ASEAN and Hawaii’s Haggai Institute fellow. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism emphasizing in Public Relations with a minor in Business-Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, U.S.A. She interned with the Public Affairs Office/Air Control Wing AWACS Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma City, where she had a first-hand exposure on how military public relations was conducted.

Born and bred in Jakarta, she has travelled to nearly 30 countries. When she is not immersed in her work, her favourite pastimes are jungle trekking, yoga, reading books on biography, history and politics.

Indria Febriani Worang

Co-Founder

Entrepreneur Indria Febriani Worang oversees the overall business direction for Arjava Strategic Communication.

She has excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills due to her extensive, nearly two-decade experience in the hospitality industry. In charge of running several companies, she provides business strategies for sizable projects and maintains strong relations with key industry players.

Indria studied Advertising in Oklahoma City Community College and Oklahoma City University, the United States. While in colleges, she interned with the Oklahoma Arts Council, actively promoting community art programs. She was also involved in several student associations, including the International Student Association at Oklahoma City University and the Indonesian Student Association of Oklahoma City (PERMIAS OKC).

Indria loves to travel, read book, and do pilates in between resolving corporate challenges.
